It was our pleasure to welcome students from Taipei Yanping High School (台北市私立延平高級中學) to the Construction API Lab.
During the visit, our professor shared a keynote on our work in driving automation in construction, an area that may not yet be mainstream, but already plays a real role in shaping the buildings we use every day.

We then introduced hands-on demonstrations, including our handheld mapping system and UGV-based mapping for construction progress monitoring, giving students a closer look at how our research is applied in practice.

Our Senior Robotics Member, Howard Liu, demonstrating our Clearpath Jackal’s on-board SLAM system.
The group also had the chance to step into our new Robotics Lab, formerly a model high-tech cleanroom facility, where they explored the space and met our robotic systems up close. The visit also marked the debut of our Techman Robot TM-20s robotic arm, which students saw in action for the first time.

Our Professor introduces the robot arm with Bo-Ya Wang and Leon Lin demonstrating the arm’s functions.
We sincerely thank the students and teachers from Taipei Yanping High School for their visit and enthusiasm. It was a pleasure sharing our work with such a curious and engaged group, and we hope this experience offered a meaningful glimpse into the future of construction and robotics.
We look forward to more opportunities to connect, share, and inspire.
