ConAPI Lab at i3CE 2026, Incheon

We are proud to have Yu-Ling Chen and Bo-Ya Wang represent our lab in the International Conference on Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering (i3CE 2026) held in Incheon, South Korea. Hosted by the Seoul National University and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the conference brought together researchers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange the latest advances in civil, construction, and environmental engineering. Their participation reflects ConAPI’s continued commitment to advancing research and fostering international academic collaboration.

Later during the conference, Bo-Ya Wang presented his paper titled “Small Object Detection Framework Designed for Hard Hat Compliance Using Surveillance Cameras.” His research introduces an intelligent computer vision framework for detecting hard hat compliance from surveillance camera footage, contributing to safer and more efficient construction site monitoring through automated safety inspection.

We are proud of our representatives for showcasing ConAPI’s research on an international stage and contributing to the exchange of ideas within the global construction engineering community. We look forward to building on these experiences and to our participation in the next i3CE.
