ConAPI’s Cheng-Yun 蔡承耘 Shares his exchange experience at Stony Brook University

Cheng-Yun’s journey at Stony Brook University captures an tells a story of academic growth, personal independence and global connection. Over his six-month exchange, he immersed himself in American-style research, extended his academic horizons, and grew his connections through working at Ci-Jyun “Polar” Liang’s CROSS Lab.

Beyond his academic work, Cheng-Yun embraced the lighter side of life, from mastering home-cooked meals and local grocery runs to discovering New York City by train and taking road trips with friends. Each small moment is an appreciable memory, reminding him that growth happens just as much outside the classroom as within it.
