Jacob J. Lin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU). He serves as Deputy Director of the AI Center (a joint initiative with the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering) and the NTU BIM Research Center. He is also the founding director of ConAPI: Construction Automation and Production Innovation Lab, where his research focuses on integrating computer vision, robotics, digital twins, and AI to improve productivity, safety, and sustainability in the built environment. His work has been featured at the World Economic Forum and in MIT Technology Review. He is active in ASCE’s Data Sensing and Analysis and Visualization, Information Modeling, and Simulation committees, and serves on the board of ICCEPM and the technical committee of ACECC.
